What's this? Words uttered by Miley Cyrus that induce agreeable head nodding as opposed to the usual head butt reflex?

Miley has quit Twitter, and now she's urging her fans to follow suit by completely blackballing the internet:

"I was kind of tired of telling everyone what I'm doing. I'm a lot less on my phone. I'm a little bit more social. I have real friends as opposed to friends on the internet that I'm talking to which is not cool, not safe, not fun - and most likely not real... I hang out with my friends and they're so busy taking pictures of what they're doing to post on Facebook and not really enjoying what they're doing. I think just enjoy the moment you're in. Stop telling people about it. Enjoy it for yourself. I'm telling kids, 'Don't go on the internet. It's dangerous, it's not fun, it wastes your life. And you should be outside playing sports, or something'."

It is unusual for someone who blathers on the internet for a living *bats lashes* to concur with someone who is advocating its dismissal, but who couldn't agree with the sentiment: "You should be outside playing sports or something." Who cares if it sounds like something she was ordered to say, or something, it's a positive message about living life through your entire being, not just your finger tips (or something).

Next up on her list positive pointers will hopefully involve maintaining the dwindling innocence of her 10-year-old sister, Noah, who was recently clocked on the internet doing a detailed dance routine to Akon's Smack That.
