The Q Awards took place yesterday. Whoopdidoo. For a list of all the winners and a dollop of award show gossip (largely Winehouse related), do visit Jenny's Music News page.

All I'm offering you here at the moment is tonnes of pictures from the red carpet. James Blunt, when not looking like a slightly older version of Paul Wellar's son (me thinks someone's been dabbling with the Just For Men, non?),  busied himself by undertaking some subtle PR for Browns; Holly Johnson looked anything but relaxed; Gary Newman confirmed that he and the missus buy eyeline in bulk; the show's host Al Murray enjoyed a wardrobe moment with Robert Plant; Marianne Faithful finally looked her age (about time, really); Spandeu Ballet shone amongst the wildly middle aged crowd; and the likes of White Lies, Biffy Clyro, and Kasabian posed their hoops off. At least The Noisettes had a bit of fun while doing it. Both Fearne Cotton and Pixie Lott were lavishly ladylike with their blonde tresses flowing; Kate Nash got felt up by Gollum, while Lily Allen, who's been suffering from laryngitis, chose to cover up for the evening. She was reportedly reduced to tears for "finally" getting an award for her music (Best Track for The Fear), but that doesn't mean she's shirking from her pop retirement claims: "I've run out of things to write about so I'm going to focus on something else. I am setting up a record label."

While a herd of folk trotted up the red carpet, Amy Winehouse was running a smidge late (something to do with her hair), therefore we only have photos from her post awards bash. She was kind enough to walk down the street with her 13-year-old goddaughter, before her new boobs agreed to play spot the areola with some passing photographers.

They're some of the more subtly shots, would you believe. The Sun have opted to showcase the more full frontal fodder. What a role model.
