LiLo's Been Let Go...

... and sent straight to rehab. Lindsay Lohan was released (in secret, unlike her mate Paris Hilton's exit a la red carpet and perfectly practiced poses) from the Century Regional Detention Centre in Lynwood, California, just 13 days after she started a 90-day sentence. RadarOnline.com said the 24 year-old was collected from the facility at 1:35am by officials from the UCLA medical centre, the rehab facility where she will staying for the next few months. The star's early release reportedly came about because of overcrowding at the prison and her good behaviour (note this is what they said even before she went into the slammer. For all they knew she could have been a loose cannon). Lohan had been due to go to the Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, California, but it was changed to UCLA after concerns from Judge Marsha Revel that information may be leaked.

When in jail, prisoners aren't allowed any sort of creature comforts and we know this included LiLo's fags. Now, since she is in rehab, she can puff away until she's blue in the face, but within the designated area and once she has permission from her physician. Here's hoping she kicks the dirty habit instead. We had also mentioned a few days ago that Lindsay was passing the time by becoming more in touch with her creative side, putting pen to paper and keeping a diary of her time in the clink, and we all may be able to get a taste of the Lilow life as her diary could be made into a book *bangs head off desk*.

In relation to having visitors, I'm sure we'll see photos of Dina and Ali entering UCLA any day now but, according to TMZ, Michael Lohan is not allowed see his daughter. There's a shock. This is something that will upset him for sure. I mean, if pops isn't allowed in, how will he be able to go on Larry King and the likes. It probably won't stop him, actually. He's already been on the hooter to Detroit's Mojo In The Morning radio show. Speaking about his daughter, he said in order for her to get better, she would need to "pull a Robert Downey Jr", i.e. cut herself away completely from all of her friends/ bad influences (I'd put Michael in that category).As the interview progressed, Michael mentioned how he expected to receive a visiting order any time now. But when he heard that Lindsay's hair stylist had already been in, he was practically speechless, muttering "Let’s hope that all that changes while she's in because if I have my way all those people are gonna be out of her life." Wake up and smell reality Michael, she don't want to see you.

That's all we've heard so far about Lindsay's first day out but, I expect more sources or Michael for that matter, to let us in on how she's doing over the next while. Stay tuned *jazz hands*
