So these images, depicting what could very well be our new currency, provided by ConKennedy.ie, pretty much speak for themselves. We have Bertie, Bran Cowen, Sean Fitzpatrick, and some other footloose and fancy free contributors to our current financial sh*t pit. Actually, we can't really include the late Brian Lenihan in that bracket now for obvious reasons, or Seanie Fitz as he was arrested this morning.
RTE reports that "Mr FitzPatrick is currently being detained at Bray Garda Station. He was arrested at his home in Co Wicklow just after 8am and can be questioned for up to 24 hours. It is the second time he has been detained in connection with the investigation into alleged financial irregularities at the former Ango-Irish Bank. Gardaí had to go before the District Court to secure a warrant for his arrest. The investigation is being conducted by the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation and the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement."
At least that's something slightly positive. Oh and make sure you read the fine print.
