Dr. Drew has been shooting his yapper off again, which isn't surprising given he's not slagged anyone off to such a degree since April.

Who's Dr. Drew? He's an "American radio/television personality, board-certified internist and addiction medicine specialist". AKA the dude from Celebrity Rehab. You might recall him from such statements as "A lot of people in the public eye who behave strangely have mental illness we can learn from, and much of it is based on childhood trauma, without a doubt. Take a guy like Tom Cruise. Why would somebody be drawn into a cultish kind of environment like Scientology? To me, that's a function of a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect in childhood - maybe some abuse, but mostly neglect." And let's not forget "If she (that being Lindsay Lohan) were my daughter, I would pack her car full with illegal substances, send her on her way, call the police, and make sure she was arrested (but that has happened). I would make sure she was not allowed to get out of jail (unlike Dina and Michael). I would then go to the judge and make sure she was ordered to a minimum of a three year sobriety program."

Well now he's calling "Brangelina" heroin addicted droids. More specifically, Angelina a heroin addict, and Brad emotionally devoid.

In an interview with the Huffington Post (by way of promoting his new talk show), Drew decided to pass judgement on Hollywood's most revered couples: "Just add up a couple things. There's no such thing as 'I was a heroin addict,'" he says, referring to Angelina. "That doesn't exist in nature. Something is going on with [her] addiction. Or she's in recovery. And I don't see any evidence that's the case. So we've got one person who's a heroin addict. Which is a chronic lifelong condition, period. We have another person who has said things like, 'Well, Jennifer [Aniston] was into long-term relationships, that's just her way of looking at things.' I mean, that demeaning attitude towards other people's emotions. Now put those two people together and you have got a really volatile situation. And they're constantly creating things to weld themselves together. Which is only going to serve to make a more nuclear eruption. There will be some sort of meltdown that will be phenomenal when it does happen."

Yeah, she's faaaaaaaaar too skinny, but she doesn't have the look of the gearbag about her. Her cheekbones aren't pointy for starters. As for Brad, his sense of style is clearly dead, but who can be sure if that extends to his emotions.

For more wildly speculative insights from Dr. Drew, the following come courtesy of usatoday.com:

On why Miley Cyrus is acting out: "Can you imagine the pain that Miley is in? Her mom just had an affair. Her parents are breaking up ... She's in trouble right now. She's manifesting signs of mental health problems, as well she should, right? It's a teenager in trouble because of problems."

On why Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson didn't last: "I don't know what that was ... I've known Ryan for a long time. He's a nice guy. He seems like someone who should have a healthy relationship."

On Kelsey Grammer, who recently announced his engagement to his fourth wife: "I don't know what to do with Kelsey. I need to know him a little better. But when you see serial re-marriers, it's usually more people of Larry King's generation. And their thing was, they didn't have sex unless they were married. I can't make sense of it."
