And The Oscar Goes To... Winners Gallery
08 March 2010Here's a wee peek at the winners, the full list of which you can ogle here.
Best Film: The Hurt Locker
Best Director: Katherine Bigelow - The Hurt Locker
Best Actor: Jeff Bridges - A Crazy Heart
Best Actress: Sandra Bullock - The Blind Side
Best Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz - Inglourious Basterds
Best Supporting Actress: Mo’Nique - Precious
Best Adapted Screenplay: Geoffrey Fletcher - Precious
Best Original Screenplay: Mark Boal - The Hurt Locker
The Hurt Locker only won six awards, one of which made Katherine Bigelow the first female ever to win Best Director. But what of the faaaaashion in the press room?!! Not everyone got snapped going up the red carpet, you know. Like one Molly Ringwald. She was there, alongside her fellow 80s Brat Packers (and a warped looking Macaulay Culkin) to play homage to the late director John Hughes. Time has not been kind. Specifically to Judd Nelson. Don't you... forget about your lips, Judd.
In other press room news, Rachel McAdams was cheered as she managed to drag her train onto the podium; the Dude could hardly contain himself; Jake Gyllenhaal tripped the light fantastic; Sandra Bullock did a fine job emulating her award; Mo'Nique and Robin Williams possible grated on a few nerves; while Bradley Cooper and Gerard Butler compared Aniston notes.
