All I Know Is That There Were Rumours...

19 March 2010

That David Platt, Nick Tisley and Tina McIntyre enjoyed a stint on Jeremy Kyle... That Satan personified said at the time of recording: "I'm a massive Corrie fan. It's the only thing I really watch. I Sky+ it and I watch it on Sunday night and I'm the biggest, biggest Corrie fan... It [lasted] about 15 minutes and all I can tell you is that there's a lie detector and it's genuinely real. It's brilliant, it's fantastic. They stayed in character the whole time and for me, it was everything I could ever have dreamt of"... That the recording, which features "audience contribution from Graeme Proctor", was to mark Kyle's 1000 episode of this subhuman shouty shite... That some of the texts Tiger Woods "allegedly" sent Joslyn James are almost as eye watering as her unclothed... No, really, they're that foul and therefore won't be rehashed here *swoons dramatically*. If you're a sordid sort, check out her website (mentioned in yesterday's Rumours)... That Tiger's lawyers are attempting to stop Pipedream Products to stop manufacturing their current line of sex toys, including "blow-up Tiger sex dolls, giant condoms and a number of filthy items we won't even try to describe"... That the likes of Lily Allen, Kathy Burke, and Damien Hirst are to appear in a variant of Shrink Rap, called In Confidence, which is due to broadcast on Sky Arts (?!)... The Sun reports: "Professor Laurie Taylor, who will be doing the grilling, warned yesterday that the series will make 'uncomfortable viewing'"... That Sarah Harding is the latest member of Girls Aloud who thinks we want to hear her solo material: "I'm starting my album now but I don't know what theme of music to go for. I want to step away from cheesy pop. It's important for me to try to establish my own identity"... That Tim Burton is stretching himself by planning a "3D stop-motion film based on the original Addams Family cartoons"... That Robert Pattinson got a wee bit tipsy at the post premiere party for Remember Me at The Ivy: "His minder was holding him up all the way to the car and his eyes were pointing in different directions. Then he sat in the back holding his head in his hands"... That Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher are to co-star in a romantic comedy called Friends with Benefits... I have it played out in my head already (they can't handle the emotions involved, but he falls for her first, which will make it more appealing to a certain female audience)... That Forest Whitaker said of only choosing credible film roles: "I don't care about money. I'd rather starve. That's my secret. I built a career playing interesting characters because I followed my heart"... That Gerard Butler is due to portray a perverted leprechaun: "I play the most perverse, disturbing, disgusting, foul-mouthed leprechaun you could ever imagine. I've been kidnapped by Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott so they can get their pot of gold. They don't quite realise what they’ve bargained for. They land themselves in a bit of trouble"... That Lady GaGa is being sued by a songwriter/producer: "Rob Fusari has filed a $35m (€26m) lawsuit in New York City against the Grammy Award-winning singer, saying his protege and former girlfriend ditched him as her career soared". Seemingly Rob "co-wrote some of her songs, came up with her stage name and helped her get a record deal"... That Heidi Montag has fired her psychic manager (who she hired in place of Spencer last week) 'cause he turned out to be a bit of a sh*tebag: "Montag, who recently began filming on Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler comedy Just Go With It, was reportedly 'horrified' when Chase turned up on set demanding her money. The 23-year-old reality TV star's representative told Us Magazine that he was 'demanding a significant portion of her Hills money', before offering his management services to Montag's co-star Audrina Patridge"... That George Clooney voted for Jeff Bridges at this year's Oscars: "Clooney punched his ballot for Jeff Bridges - and then photographed it and sent it to his fellow nominee. Clooney's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, confirmed: 'Story is true. According to George, 'It was an amazing performance.' He also told Jeff, 'If you don't win, you can't blame me' "... That Sam Mendes is getting over his split with Kate Winslet by casting Bond Girls for the 23rd instalment of the franchise (which is due to be in 3D)...

I thought Gerard Butler had already played a leprechaun in that steaming pile of dung, Leap Year.
