All I Know Is That There Were Rumours...
26 November 2009That a load of celebrities turned up to Take That's SingStar Extravaganza at the Tabernacle last night... There's nothing to report other than that; there were just the usual slew of sober celebrities going in, and drunk coming out... Sober going in, and drunk coming out... Drunk going in, and drunker coming out... That Noel Fielding wasn't in attendance, but I just threw in some photos of him in a dress for fun... That the girl Noel was photographed with "did not want to be pictured with him"... Funny that... That Paloma Faith looks like Naboo in drag... That Ekaterina Ivanova is saying The Stones will roll out their bones for another world tour next year: "She's not supposed to talk about it, things haven't been finalised but she couldn't resist telling a few friends. I'm sure the rest of the Stones will be delighted she's blabbed the big news"... That Alesha Dixon was turned away from the Funky Buddah as she was in the company of too many men (twelve to be precise): "Alesha really wanted to go in and pleaded with doormen to reconsider. When they said no, she sent one of her entourage to ask, but to no avail. Eventually she accepted, saying to her friends, 'Come on, let's go, guys. I don't want to make a scene'"... Instead she got locked and gave photographers the finger when departing the Mayfair Hotel... That it's been a while since Katie Holmes was in a cinema: "Katie talked through all of New Moon. It was unbelievable - they talked nonstop about the movie and everything else. Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie"... If she did that in IMC DunLaoghaire she'd most likely be skewered in a hail of cheese nachos... That there's a reason why Woody Harrelson looks so gaunt in 2012: "I went 22 days only having fruit juice, the rest of the time water. Also, I haven't spoken a single word for most of the time. But it was totally worth it. Previously, I felt physically and spiritually blocked. Now I feel great"... because you started eathing again?... That Woody also took the time to deliver his cure for a hangover: "If you have a hangover, a headstand is the best thing to do. Get up and do a yoga session"... 'Cause hanging upside down is exactly what a dicky belly needs... That Sarah Palin once said: "If God had not intended for us to eat animals, how come He made them out of meat?"... That the star of Nailin' Palin, porn fodder Lisa Ann, is dating Rob Kardashian... That After Eight have conducted a poll to see who the general public would most like to attend dinner with... That Stephen Fry came out top, getting 22% of the votes... Also topping the list were Cheryl Cole, Simon Cowell, President Obama and Joanna Lumley... That Fry would be great dining company, providing he promised not to spend most of the evening updating his Twitter.... That, when asked if she ever got star struck, Miley Cyrus said: "No, I'm pretty cool. I'm pretty much the coolest person ever... no, I'm pretty cool. I'm pretty much the coolest person ever"... That cool people aren't in the habit of repeating how cool they are... That Roman Polanski has had his bail set at $4.5million... That Good Morning America, who cancelled Adam Lambert's performance due to his man-on-man kissing at the AMAs, have booked Chris Brown... An ABC source said, "The network is giving a mixed message - that it doesn't trust someone who shocked with an unpredictable show and a gay kiss, but then it is happy to go ahead with Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault"... That some other ABC insider added: "Chris Brown's interview was booked way before Adam Lambert took to the stage. It is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna's interview"... And to promote his new album...
