Robert Pattinson worried for Kristen

Robert Pattinson is worried about Kristen Stewart.

The British actor was devastated when his 'Twilight Saga' co-star and offscreen love cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders and while he is refusing to meet her face-to-face, he is still concerned about her.

A source said: ''Rob is still deciding what to do. He's been talking to Kristen briefly on the phone every day but they haven't met. He's worried about how the stress of it all is affecting her and asks how she is - but he's told her he's not ready to hear her explanation of what happened.

''He knows she's going through as much hell as he is but he's not sure he's ready to see her or forgive her. Kristen has told him she doesn't expect or deserve forgiveness, she just needs to see him to explain.''

Meanwhile, Robert's friend Tom Sturridge wants the actor to come stay with him and girlfriend Sienna Miller in London.

The source added to Closer magazine: ''Tom and Sienna have really been there for him. They think he needs to escape Hollywood right now.''

  Rob must be reading recent posts that question his response to the scandal. The dust is settling and he is more and more looking like a self-serving opportunist. So, suddenly he's "worried about Kristen." His PR people are working overtime to convince fans that he is a good guy who is devastated, but his actions prove otherwise. If he is really worried and really loves her, he would already know what to do - stand by her and not let her go through this alone. But he's not. Instead, he's fanning the hatred of his tween audience with the poor Rob story and playing this to capitalize on sympathy to jump-start box office for his movie. She catapulted him to fame and fortune and stood by him through his cheating and drinking rumors. She's the strong one. He is the loser at the end of this story. Kristen, hold your head up and go back to work.
