One Direction to get own dolls
One Direction are set to be immortalised in toy form.
The 'What Makes You Beautiful' group - who were put together by music mogul Simon Cowell on the 2010 series of the UK version of 'The X Factor' - have teamed up with toy maker Hasbro to launch a One Direction line of dolls and games.
John Frascotti, chief marketing officer of Hasbro said: ''In the short time since the group's debut, One Direction has captured the hearts of many young fans across the world. The band is poised for continued and increasing global success.
''We are excited about the opportunity to provide One Direction's very enthusiastic international fan base with a diverse product line that captures the essence of the band members.''
The range will be launched globally in Autumn 2012 with the exception of their native UK and Ireland.
The group are raking in the cash with Simon reportedly recently paying all five members - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson - £2 million each, although Niall joked he pays them in ''jelly beans''.
He cheekily quipped: ''Simon Cowell is tight. That's why he's so successful - he's able to keep his money to himself. We're paid in jelly beans.''
