Emily Blunt's cynicism eased by marriage

Emily Blunt is less cynical now she is married.

The 29-year-old actress tied the knot with 'The Office' star John Krasinski two years ago and claims her life has got even better since they made their union official.

She said: ''I am much less cynical and more mushy about love now that I have found my perfect match because I know how wonderful it can be. I love being married - I definitely think the party starts after the wedding's over.

''John's very loving and stable, which suits me perfectly. I have never been someone who cultivates drama in my relationships. I'm also a sucker for funny and he's the funniest person I know.''

The British beauty moved from London to Los Angeles to be with John and is happy to have made the move because it has made her more healthy, as well as being good for her work.

She said: ''It's not exactly a sacrifice to live in Los Angels. It's a wonderful city, we have great friends and it is very good for my work.

''I love the enthusiasm of Americans and I love their openness. Much as I love Britain, we have a tendency to sweep things under the carpet.

''Americans - at least the ones I know - seem to be more communicative about what they're feeling. And they're health conscious too - I'm much healthier when I'm in LA.''
