Alexandra Burke's boyfriend accused of cheating

Alexandra Burke's boyfriend has been accused of cheating on her.

Tottenham Hotspur footballer Jermain Defoe, 29, reportedly enjoyed a night of passion in a Newcastle hotel last month with nursing assistant and model Laura Brown who he met on social networking site Facebook.

Laura told The Sun newspaper: ''I never planned on sleeping with him, it just happened. He texted me and said, 'I'm in your hometown'. He told me he wanted to see me and message his room number.

''We chatted for a while then started cuddling and talked about watching a film. But as we lay on the bed he started rubbing his hands on me and we ended up having sex.

''The next day I felt dreadful about it. I asked him about Alexandra Burke and he said it was 'early days'.''

However, Laura, 23, was shocked to see pictures in the newspapers of Alex, 23 and Jermain on a series of dates recently and admitted she has been left ''very upset'' by the sportsman's duplicitous actions.

She said: ''It now appears they really are an item. I was shocked when I saw pictures of them together in the paper last week. And Alexandra has apparently said she is in love. I'm very upset.''
