Going, Going, Gong...

After a whopping 219,000 votes, we find ourselves at the final hurdle folks. Voting closes for the Annual Awards at 5.30pm this evening. It seems that The Rubberbandits, The Script, Inception, Ray Foley and Growing Up Gay are going to be some of the big gong winners, while Dara O'Briain is set to snatch the Best Irish Comedian title off last year's winner, Katherine Lynch. In more surprising news, Cheryl Cole looks like she's pipping Amanda Brunker to the post in the Over-Exposed category... and after Brunker went to the trouble of releasing her own range of sofas. Check them all out at entertainment.ie/awards, and remember it's never too late to change the winners' fate - assuming you cast your vote before 5.30, that is.

The winners are due to be announced on both entertainment.ie and The Star on Friday January 14th. We also have loads of €100 vouchers to give away for all the best nationwide stores like Argos, Boots, BT2, Ikea, HMV, Woodies...
