Woody Harrelson and Billy Crudup play two cowboy buddies trying to come to terms with the impact WWII has had on their traditional lifestyle while simultaneously bickering over the same married woman (Arquette). The Hi-Lo is a bleak rough 'n' tumble, booze 'n' bovines meditation on the death of the western.
