Last time she was on with Colbert, she had a go at teaching him an Irish accent (you can see how that went here) but this time Colbert brought up her efforts at a Californian, specifically a Sacramento, accent for her latest film, 'Lady Bird', as well as bringing up Catholicism and (once again) the difficulties people have with her name.

And you would imagine that if that was the conversation and the talking point EVERY TIME you met someone, you'd be quite snotty and over it but Ronan managed to keep the conversation going without getting too testy. That is, until Colbert brought up the idea of eating unconsecrated communion bread.

And honestly, we kind of agree with her. We didn't realise that Catholic fear was so universal.
