We could always do with a little more Elle Woods in our lives.

The determined and all-round fabulous Harvard law student is Reese Witherspoon’s breakthrough role, and probably the part she remains best-known for.

Appearing on James Corden’s talk show last night, she was asked if she’d be up for doing another sequel (the first Legally Blonde was out in 2001 and had a sequel in 2003).

The actress said that she would and continued: "I think it would be kind of cool to see her, 15 years later. Like, what's she doing now? ... But I need a good idea."

Witherspoon in fact already has a few ideas: "She could be a Supreme Court justice or she could be like a really great, powerful attorney – or she could be in prison. She could be anything!"
