The majority of the news surrounding Orlando Bloom this year has surrounded that incident that saw him get fined for having his Legolas out but it's important to remember that Bloom also acts and on his days off rescues dogs.
The latter part may be an exaggeration as we're not sure if he makes a habit of rescuing stray dogs but he certainly did it at least one time in his life. During a break from filming his next project, Smart Chase: Fire & Earth in Shanghai, Bloom came across a wounded dog and came to its aid by bringing it to the local vet and helping to shave the dog (so its wound could be treated) and also give it a bath.
He documented the whole thing on his Instagram stories and it's really great to see the poor little dog in recovery mode by the end.
