Meryl Streep is the best.

She's got a platform and a voice and she uses it for so much more than just taking butt selfies. She's also very funny - in fact, her sense of humour doesn't get enough credit - and not that we needed something like this to prove that she's an incredibly gifted actor but damn; she is. Passionate when it comes to her political views, this Oscar-winning actress is no wall-flower, and here, she perks up an otherwise ordinary Tuesday evening with an impersonation of Donald Trump that's Oscar-worthy in its own right. The hair, the fake tan, the belly, the voice - we almost had to double-take. Meryl joins her Mamma Mia co-star Christine Baranski who takes on the role of Hillary Clinton for a satirical musical performance as part of the annual Shakespeare in the Park Public Theatre Gala event in Central Park, NYC. And yes, we feel the need to state that this is satirical, because with Trump, it's very hard to tell the difference.

Meryl may be one of the most successful and well-respected thespians of our time, but it's good to see she's still very much up for a laugh.
