Any other time, we'd chalk this up to the ongoing faux-hatred comedy between Kimmel and Damon but somehow, considering everything that's going on with Harvey Weinstein, this felt a little too tone deaf.

Damon became involved in the Weinstein story after it was reported that he had a part in killing a story about Weinstein's alleged abuses in 2004, a report he as since denied saying that he "felt sick to his stomach" when he found about the allegations.

Which is why it's uncomfortable to see him paling around with Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Taika Waititi on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', not because he has anything to be ashamed of but it feels like a very forced reminder by Damon and his pals that he's a "fun, cool guy".

Watch below and judge for yourself.
