It's probably rare that Mark Wahlberg gets through his days without meeting someone that doesn't already know who he is.
But we guess that's what happens when you meet somebody ever more famous than you are? In Wahlberg's case, that person was the Pope.
A good Irish Catholic from Philadelphia, Wahlberg described how he'd been guilted into getting more involved with his local church. It started off small, with just doing the collections for while. However before too long he was being asked to host an event for the Pope's visit to the city of brotherly love.
He describes how the Pope asked Wahlberg to pray for him. To which the Oscar nominee replied: "You're in pretty good. You're a lock buddy. I need the prayers."
