Whether 2014's Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres sent her producer in a pair of tuxedo short-shorts to this year's event is a middle finger to them for not picking her since or just a coincidence we'll never know but it provide some good comedic moments involving plying the A-list with shots and making Saoirse Ronan play 'Would You Rather'.
Not that she ever answers the question of 'what ' she would actually rather, Ronan does stick to her roots and choose Michael Fassbender over both Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hardy (difficult choices but patriotism had to win really - centenary year and all that).
