True story. Now, Adele didn't physically force Jonah Hill to physically assault world renowned director J.J. Abrams, rather she moved him to do it with the power of her voice.
By way of a brief(ish) back story; Jonah Hill brought his sister (a huge Adele fan) to see the songstress perform 'Hello' during SNL. While standing in front of the stage - alongside his sister and Bradley Cooper - Jonah didn't expect to be emotionally moved to the extent that he was, so he started feeling slightly uncomfortable. Then, when J.J. happened to over to say hello to Bradley, an emotionally fraught Jonah Hill decided to introduce himself in a rather unorthodox manner... in front of J.J.s kids.
