The veteran actor was presenting the Hollywood Documentary Award at the HFAs to Shep Gordon, star of the very good rockumentary Supermensch.
To say that Depp was plastered was an understatement. The dude could barely stand up and shuffled and mumbled his way through the speech for Gordon.

We get that stage fright is a thing and undoubtedly Dutch courage helps, but come on.
You're sort of insulting whoever it is you're giving the award to by getting twisted drunk. Not cool, Johnny Depp.
