Jane Fonda does not have time for anyone's petty questions and has no problem letting you know.

Former FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly is getting off to a rocky start in her new gig on NBC as a host on 'TODAY', causing uproar on Monday by asking a 'Will & Grace' fan if he "became gay" because of the show and today getting on the wrong side of Hollywood legend Jane Fonda by asking about her plastic surgery.

"You’ve been an example to everyone in how to age beautifully and with strength and unapologetically. You admit you’ve had work done, which I think is to your credit. But you look amazing," Kelly said to Fonda, who was on Kelly’s hour of the 'TODAY' show with her costar in 'Our Souls at Night', Robert Redford.

"I read that you said you’re not proud to admit you’ve had work done," she continued. "Why not?"

Fonda stared Kelly down in a look you can witness at about the two-minute mark below, and then answered: "We really want to talk about that right now?"

"One of the things people think about you when they look at you is how amazing you look," Kelly quickly proffered, getting a brisk answer of "Good attitude, good posture, and taking care of myself" before deploying a seasoned Hollywood move and said: "But let me tell you why I love this movie that we did, Our Souls at Night, rather than plastic surgery."

Not. Having. A. Bar. We just wish we could have seen what happened after the segment ended and the show went to commercial.
