Since its release in recent weeks, Thor Ragnarok has proven to be a great success at the box office, plus many are claiming it’s probably Marvel’s funniest movie ever.

Among its many fans however, is not one Jack Black, the actor slash musician who is known for his comedic rock group Tenacious D but probably even more so for his film School of Rock.

The latter features a brief sequence in which Black sings along with Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song' and since the single also features in the final fight sequence of Ragnarok, Black naturally, jokingly, accused Thor of stealing his song.

He then challenges Thor to a ‘battle of the Jams.’

In fairness to Chris Hemsworth, he accepted the challenge willingly, although he did admit he wasn’t exactly sure what a ‘battle of the Jams’ entails:

Black responded thusly:

Daddy’s School Of Ragnaroth from the set of “The House With A Clock In It’s Walls”

School of Ragna-Rock would definitely be a mash-up we’d pay to see.
