Cillian Murphy, as we know, is one of Ireland's greatest living actors and has worked with some of the most respected directors of our time, including Christopher Nolan, Wes Craven, Ron Howard, and Danny Boyle.

However, when he was 19 and living in Cork, Murphy was all about one thing - acid jazz, and his band The Sons Of Mr. Green Genes - which is a reference to a Frank Zappa song. This video clip has been doing the rounds on Twitter and shows Murphy, fresh-faced and earnest with a thick Cork accent, talking about commercial pop music and how jazz was pushing it further.

He's not wrong, in fairness, but sure isn't he only a gossun.
