Auditions aren't an easy thing, and it turns out that becoming Danerys Targaryen was such a stressful experience that it inspired Emilia Clarke to dance the 'Funky Chicken' in front of the show's producers.
Hey, whatever gets you the gig.
Clarke divulged her experiences of auditioning to 'Transparent' star Jay Duplass in Variety's 'Actors on Actors' studio, explaining that she was "jacked up" on a Diet Coke after going on an extreme health buzz pre-audition which led to her choice of dance.
Just don't get excited about seeing Khalessi busting out the moves any time soon, as Clarke says she doesn't see the character having much humour at all.
"I don’t think you’re going to see it," Clarke replied. "I tried to make her funny, and it doesn’t work. Khaleesi isn’t funny."
