Stone's fight with anxiety resulted in her starting therapy at just 7-years-old but it was acting and improv she says that helped her get through it all.

Emma Stone appeared on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' last night to promote her upcoming film 'Battle of the Sexes' when the host pulled out a drawing Stone made while in therapy when she was nine depicting her standing next to her anxiety, represented by a little green monster.

"I was a very, very anxious child, and I had a lot of panic attacks," she explained. "I benefitted in a big way from therapy."

And while she may appear super confident now, she says it's still an issue for her.

"I still have anxiety to this day," she told Colbert. Just shows you can't judge a book by its cover.
