We never thought we'd end up watching an interview on Ellen and feel like it was Joycean in nature but such is the power of Colin Farrell and his stream of consciousness that here we are.

Farrell appeared on 'Ellen' yesterday to promote 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' and in his blistering five minutes of chat he managed to talk about smoking, hypnosis, birthdays and eventually even Donald Trump, whose actions he has a hard time explaining to his 7-year-old son Henry (who by all accounts is thankfully not a Trump fan).

"He wasn’t a huge fan of Trump initially," Farrell told Ellen. "A little bit because of his hair... and now he can’t stand Trump because I had to explain to him why Trump keeps being mean to kittens. He just keeps grabbing those kittens."

That's some A1 reality-dodging right there. Colin gets a gold star for parenting for that one.
