Who knew that Colin Farrell was so into his cheeseburgers that he has a phone full of photos of them?

Farrell continued his charm offensive on America with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night and aside from (badly) promoting 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer', he also opened up about his childhood love of Marilyn Monroe and how he used to leave Smarties out for her to eat (young Colin Farrell clearly didn't understand the concept of ghosts), watching American TV shows as a kid and what it was like coming to the US with those preconceived notions.

Farrell also talked about the horror that is green beer for Paddy's Day, how much he loves Christmas (which Discover Ireland need to transcribe and turn into a campaign for winter breaks here because he makes it sound utterly dreamy) and then gave a shoutout to a burger joint in Oklahoma for being the best in the entire country (we've Googled it and it does indeed look good).

And when it finally came to talking about 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer', Farrell once again hilariously failed to sell it by lying about it and instead admitted it's the "feel bad" movie of the year and that even his mates hated it.

It's almost like the charm capability of one nation has been distilled down into one human. If he's not getting money from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Tourism to keep us all looking good, he should be.
