Cillian Murphy and Andrew Scott were at the world premiere of The Delinquent Season last night alongside the writer-director of the film Mark O’Rowe and co-stars Catherine Walker and Eva Birthistle.

We chatted with the two actors on the red carpet about James Bond, given Murphy has been talked of as taking on the super spy icon next while Scott was in the last 007 outing.

Upon being asked about the rumours connecting him to the role, Murphy said it was “not on his radar” and “hadn’t thought about” who could play the character after Daniel Craig.

Scott, who played C in 2015’s Spectre joked that “that’ll be 2055” by the time Craig is finished playing the spy, adding “it’s always fascinating to see who they’ll choose” in relation to the next 007.
