Hooters, Twinkies, gigantic gallon size drinks. Basically anything that's bad for you is synonymous with the good old US of A. Hence Carey Mulligan, on her first trip across the pond as an 11-year-old, visited Hooters for a family meal.
Mulligan regaled Jimmy Fallon and the world with her tales of childhood holidays and a trip to New York with her family when she was still a nipper on The Tonight Show last night, and was very prim and proper while discussing taking in the sights and sounds the Big Apple had to offer.
So impressed was she by Les Miserables and the lady-central restaurant that she even took home t-shirts from both, just don't expect her to be wearing the latter anytime soon as it's long gone.
