Bill Murray continues to blaze a promotional trail in his quest to raise awareness for his new film St Vincent yesterday with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. It's not quite abandoning Letterman's set with his hands slathered in the American version of Deep Heat, but it's up there with he more recent interview he gave Ellen - but with extra blushing.

For those who enjoy a prelude to your videos (all two of you), here's an outline of what happens.

Essentially, he finds Tinder "amusing." Yep, your life amuses Bill Murray. Every cloud... The actor also claims he doesn't need any assistance in wooing people (to be fair, given he has six sons from two previous unions, he's not fared too badly) and "can't imagine" joining Tinder.

Discussing the mobile app, the 64-year-old actor says: "I know about Tinder. I know it became very popular at the Olympics.... Everyone was like 'Hi, I'm very fit and I'm an Olympic athlete'... I think it could be amusing. But I can't imagine doing it particularly. I feel like I've lived that life, and I can live that life at any moment and say, 'hey, you with the camera, damn it I'm coming your way'."

Then the poor fecker blushes up a storm....

Bill says he is very impulsive and thinks he gets away with things because he always shows up for work on time.

Asked if he likes to live spontaneously, he said: "Everyone thinks they're doing that okay, they don't want to be bullied, they don't want to be pushed around. There is a certain comfort level that you get to. People don't push you around at your job if you're good at your job and you show up on time. You don't have to be good at your job, but if you show up every day that's most of it."

Ain't that the truth.
