With Justice League wrapping up what’s been a major year for superhero movies, parodies based on those caped crusaders are inevitable.

What’s unique about this one is that it is based on figures that actually came out of the imagination of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel when he was 12 years old. It emerged on his show that as a prepubescent kid, he wrote a comic called The Terrific Ten.

The team included Muscle Man and Crayon Kid – plus there’s an Oirish superhero in the mix in leprechaun hero Lucky Lad. Actors Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Zach Galifianakis, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Cousin Sal, Jon Hamm, Shaq, Ty Burrell, and Billy Crudup brought the heroes to life in a ‘world exclusive trailer’ compiled by director JJ Abrams to celebrate the TV host's 50th birthday.

The highlight of it has to be supervillain Doctor Bolt, who is played by Matt Damon, Kimmel’s real-life nemesis:
