It's a case of ask and you shall receive in the world of Kate Winslet.

Winslet walked away with more than just the Hollywood Actress Award at last night's Hollywood Film Awards in Los Angeles after Allison Janey responded to Winslet's praise and request for some physical contact and gave her a nice peck on the lips for her troubles.

During her acceptance speech for the honour, which she received for her work in Woody Allen's 'Wonder Wheel', Winslet said that she felt honoured to be in the same room as people like Janney, adding: "I know I don't really know you but I know I just want to be you. I do, or just stroke you or something. I mean, we could always kiss, maybe? Maybe?"

Janney, ever the professional and woman who knows her cues, then headed to the stage without missing a beat, throwing Winslet who then said: " Ah, it's gonna happen! This is an exciting moment!"
