Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, has just admitted that when it came to her live performances with the Spice Girls back in the good ole days of yore, she almost always had her microphone turned off. Well, we appreciate her honesty and it's not like she's in denial; she's long accepted that music and vocals are not her strong suit, but fashion certainly is.

Can't have been nice for her, as a pop star, who became famous for their, erm, singing ability and banging tunes, to have been told 'well, actually, you there with the bob, you're a bit sh*t, so we're just going to turn yours off.' Then again, if we made that much money too and it gave us the platform it's given her, we'd have happily agreed too.

According to The Telegraph, when speaking to Claudia Winkleman on Thursday night's Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition at London's National Portrait Gallery, Queen V revealed some interesting secrets. "They used to turn it off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh - and now my mic is well and truly on, finally" she says, referring to her sartorial empire.

"I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress." She continued, "the first dress that I wore in the Spice Girls, which everybody thought was a little black Gucci dress, was actually from Miss Selfridge - it wasn't a little back Gucci dress."

Scandalous.
