Victoria Beckham's latest beauty treatment: sheep guts. Nice.
And now for some strange news: I'm all for sticking teabags on my eyes or wallowing in a bath of seaweed to give my skin a boost, but this is just plain GROSS.
It seems Victoria Beckham will try just about anything to avoid aging but sheep placenta? Really? Reports this morning reveal that the former Spice Girl is opting for this strange procedure as a facial treatment.
According to The Sun, Victoria is rumoured to spend £320 on the 90-minute spa, which involves shining a red LED light on her face, before a gel mixture is spread over with gold flakes. 'The stem cells interact with your own cells telling them to wake up and produce collagen,' Dr Harold Lancer of Beverly Hills tells the Daily Mirror.
Whatever happened to ageing gracefully?
This dude is also a personal doctor to fellow youth-seekers Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez, and they don't appear to have aged a day so maybe we should listen to him.
Apart from making us GAG, we're also wondering if this causes any harm to the animals? And the answer is no, apparently not. The sheep's stem cells are just extracted, then frozen and then mixed into a gel. Mmmm.
Importing the gloopy stuff from New Zealand, Dr Lancer explains why it's sheep guts he's into: "They have no impurities in their system."
And with that, I'm off for my lunch. Haggis anyone?

Age gracefully? Or try every procedure under the sun to keep the wrinkles at bay, even if it involves going under the knife or rubbing animal guts all over yer face.
