US One Direction Get Death Threats. Was Only a Matter of Time
All they wanted is their name back, or a rake load of cash (one million dollars *brandishes pinkie*), and all they've gotten so far is a load of death threats. And exposure. Lots of exposure.
The lead singer of the Californian incarnation of One Direction, Sean O'Leary, said: "There has been so much hate mail, like people threatening to cut our b***s off. The one that stands out for me is a girl saying she wanted to kill my father."
Welcome to rational side of 1D's fan base. Might I suggest you should hook up with Caroline Flack for some group therapy chinwags. And you're 18, she might be into you. Bonus.
The Sun reports: "They vowed to continue their legal battle against the British 1D - currently in Australia - which was revealed in The Sun yesterday. They insist they have been using the name since 2009 and that UK fans who think they are copycats are 'confused'. The US band admitted they had 'huge respect' for the British lads - but that their own music is better."
Red rag. Bulls everywhere. Mind your balls.
