Entertainment.ie Annual Awards 2009 - The Winners...

Well, the winners are in, and they're a mighty fine bunch. In case you haven't seen the double page spread in today's Star, and full page article in The Irish Mirror on the second page, Nadia Forde's array of stunning bikinis won Best Irish Model - and therefore garnered ample coverage in the papers.

We had a photo shoot and everything, and invited along Miss Forde, Best Xpose Presenter Sean Munsanje, and Best TV Show winners Michelle Doherty and Elton Mulally (who looked particularly elated to be partaking in the proceedings. Especially here. And here. OH and here. Not sure what's up with him here, mind...) to guzzle some fizzy stuff and hang around with a few balloons and banners.

We have quotes from all the winners, who also included Colm and Jim Jim, Rick O'Shea, Delorentos, Codes, Andrew Maxwell (who, judging by his comment, sat around in his pants voting for himself for hours on end *doffs pipe*), and many more.

On behalf of the whole entertainment.ie team, I'd like to thank YOU for casting close to half a million votes this year. Here's to the next :-)

P.S. To all the winners, a beautifully crafted piece of engraved glass is winging its way to you as I type. Please don't stick it in the jacks with the rest of your awards, it might cause you an injury.
