Tara Reid and Jedward. It gets weirder.

Is it just me or can I take the liberty of speaking for ALL of us when I say the whole Jedward and Tara Reid bosom buddy thing is starting to get a bit weird. Actually make that MORE weird. It was always somewhat contrived - sure it sprang from one of the most artificial situations ever, Celebrity Big Brother - but now that Reid has likened them to brothers, via Twitter, I'm starting to wonder what's in it for both her and them. Judging by this pic above, it seems Tara might just enjoy being flanked by either twin to stop herself from falling over. Seriously, we know you're pals, you can let go now. Do they even exchange words when they hang out with each other? Does she even understand what they're saying?

Understanding the semantics of this odd celebrity alliance aside, Tara Reid has taken to the social media outlet to 'stop the hate'. She said:

"To all the fans @planetjedward thanks for all the support I love them like brothers be happy for us that we r such good friends stop thehate"

Why do you need 'support', Tara? Are you thanking Jedward's fans for supporting your friendship? The trio have been enjoying some time in the sun getting papped over the last week. While sauntering around St Tropez, Reid took to Twitter again to declare her adoration of the boys: "Just jumped of our boat into the sea it felt amazing with @planetjedward the best guys in the world I'm a lucky girl."

We know you've had a hard time of late Reid, what with your flash hospital visits and post treatment media scrutiny but If jumping into the sea with this pair is what makes you a lucky girl, then your career really is going far worse than we'd originally imagined. Like all of the best celebrity friendships, a celebrity falling out is inevitable - take Paris Hilton and pretty much everyone she's ever been bffs with for example. What then for Tara Reid?

I'd imagine they've lots to talk about when together, given that Jedward aren't normally the hyper real Billy Barry personas that they play on for their audience. They are, after all, 22 year old men *gasp* I'd say they're mates, nothing weird about that.

even the most casual observer can see why they like each others company, this article is probably the dumbest thing I have ever read.

As opposed to those stunningly articulate articles you always read on Jedward and Tara Reid, Paddy?
