We thought we were being original with the '500 days of diapers' line but Us Weekly got there first.

According to Hollywood Life, Joseph Gordon-Levitt became a father this weekend after his wife Tasha McCauley gave birth to a bouncing baby boy (we don't know if it's bouncing but we imagine it's perfect in every way). McCauley, who is co-founder and CEO of tech start-up Fellow Robots, and Gordon-Levitt met in 2013 and like to keep their relationship out of the spotlight as much as possible, marrying just before Christmas last year in a super secret ceremony. And just like their wedding, the couple also kept the pregnancy hush hush, with word only coming today that McCauley and Gordon-Levitt welcomed a son on Saturday August 15th.

Tasha McCauley

Gordon-Levitt previously told Howard Stern his reasoning behind not sharing information of his private life with the public, saying: "I get up in movies and I play other people, so when the audience is watching me in movies, I don’t want them thinking about me and who I’m dating, and blah blah blah," which is understandable, but we also reckon it's to stop prying eyes and let them live as much of a normal life as possible.

There's no name as of yet with reps for Gordon-Levitt yet to respond to press. Judging from how private these two are we may never know, but we're sure he's the most adorable thing on earth.

Congrats Gordon-Levitt-McCauley clan!
