Although it may have gone under the radar, Ryan Seacrest was accused by a former stylist of mistreatment during the latter part of 2017 - and has spoken about the incident for the first time in an open letter to the Hollywood Reporter.

As Seacrest tells it, he received a letter from a lawyer representing an unnamed show stylist who "claimed that I mistreated her more than a decade ago when we worked together."

"This arrived during an unprecedented public reckoning by women in our industry and beyond, courageously coming forward to share their stories, many of them heartbreaking. These women sought to bring attention to the systemic gender inequality that has occurred for decades. I was — and am — amazed at their bravery."

Seacrest went on, saying that having his workplace conduct was "gut-wrenching," adding that he "always aimed to treat all of my colleagues with honesty, respect, kindness and compassion." Ultimately, after an internal inquiry and an independent third-party investigation, Seacrest was exonerated five days ago and shared his experience.
