Things are really heating up as the election date rolls ever nearer and the boxing gloves are coming off for Robert De Niro. Having slammed Trump in a vicious video over the weekend, he's now taking on Trump supporters who called out his "ugly rant", namely Jon Voight.
Voight took to Twitter after De Niro's video was released, saying that "Donald Trump's words were not as damaging as Robert DeNiro's ugly rant" and calling on"all Trump supporters to express their outrage and anger against DeNiro and all of the Republican turncoats."

De Niro, who was in Dubai over the weekend, replied by saying: "Voight is a nice guy but he’s delusional. The Republican party has rationalised that his guy is sane, that this guy should be President. It’s awful, they will self-destruct."
