Someone needs to bring an extinguisher to put out this fiery fight.

The two artists are currently engaged in what is probably the first major celeb social media feud this year. And it’s getting increasingly ugly.

It started with Rihanna responding to Donald Trump’s Muslim ban with this tweet yesterday:

Banks (best-known for the song 212) responded with an Instagram post (which has since been deleted) which read: "As far as Rihanna (who isn't a citizen and can't vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot really REALLY need to shut up and sit down.

"Stop chastising the president. It's stupid and pathetic to watch. All of these confused people confuse other confused people. Hoping the president fails is like getting on an airplane and hoping the pilot crashes."

Rihanna replied to the artist via Instagram with a selfie and message referring to a recent video where Banks claimed she sacrificed chickens in her home:

Banks seemed un-phased by Rihanna’s critique and took to Instagram again, this time with with a smiling selfie, sticking two fingers up to Rihanna, captioned with a knife and chicken emojis:

Reportedly, Rihanna then changed her Twitter picture to a screengrab of a text from Banks, claiming that Rihanna had been overshadowed by Beyoncé:

After this, the singer immediately changed her profile picture to a kissy face selfie, but the rapper was not happy. She posted Rihanna's number on Instagram with the caption "Bombs away!"

They've both now removed their posts, and both numbers have reportedly been cut off.

Banks is currently banned from Twitter after her tirade against former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, where she sent him a series of racist and homophobic messages.
