We'll address Bai Ling's ensemble in a moment, for she totally stole the show in a dragon dress which she was particularly attached to. Firstly, let's scan the more subtle looks from the night (all the winners of which you can see here).

Big winner of the night Shailene Woodley kept it casual in her Isabel Marant printed trousers...

Next we have Rebel Wilson, complimenting her hot pink Aldo kitten heels with a caped dress...

Cara Delevingne looked typically sublime in a Reem Acra dress and Saint Laurent heels.

Only Scarlett Johansson could attempt to pull off this Zuhair Murad jumpsuit and "pineapple-print" heels courtesy Sophia Webster.  It resembles something Betty White may have enjoyed wearing in her heyday, which is nice.

Moving on to some of the more agreeable looks from the night, here's Jennifer Lopez in a Versace mini tux and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, while Brittany Snow wore a Brandon Sun block dress, and Anna Camp just embodied spring time in a really cute Peter Pilotto dress and baby blue Weitzman heels.

Also opting for a Peter Pilotto mini was Bella Thorne...

Attending the awards in a different capacity than usual given her recent retirement from Fashion Police, Kelly Osbourne kept things chic in black Alexander McQueen and Renee Caovilla heels.

Finally, to some of the more daring looks from the awards... Behold Gone Girl's Emily Ratajkowski in Fausto Puglisi.

And if you thought Hailee Steinfeld's sheer and netted ensemble was delightfully OTT...

... wait 'til you cop a proper look at Bai Ling's 'boyfriend'. Yep, she called it her boyfriend. We know Bjork did it first many moons ago thanks to what appeared to be a slumbering swan lolling around her neck, but this two-piece Dragon Dress is up there among the best red carpet moments going - mostly thanks to the danger involved (you could cut the hedge with that). And sure what else would Bai be doing.
