As we reported yesterday evening, comedy legend Gene Wilder passed away at the age of 83.

Needless to say, Wilder's death has had a profound effect on his fans across the globe, including other people in Hollywood who worked with or were inspired by the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory star.

Long time collaborator, Mel Brooks said he was blessed to have had Wilder as a friend. 

Wilder's final role was as a guest star on Will & Grace in 2003. He played Will Truman’s boss on the show and both Eric McCormack and Debra Messing referred to him as a “genius.”

Roger Moore, who co-starred with Wilder in Sunday Lovers reminisced:

James Corden dedicated a segment of his show last night to Wilder last night in which he reminisced about the time Wilder sent the kindest rejection letter anyone has ever received.
