Best-known for her Academy award winning role in The Help, Octavia Spencer also stars in Hidden Figures – an upcoming film about three black female mathematicians working at a segregated NASA.
Spencer was at the White House this week for a screening and discussion of her latest movie, when she got the biggest surprise when President Barack Obama stopped by to say hello.
This was the result of that meeting:
Spencer captioned the picture, in which her co-star Taraji P. Henson can also be seen: ‘Our screening was with [First Lady Michelle Obama] but [Barack] surprised us. Humbling because he has a million things to do but stopped by to say hello!!!!’
Comforting to know that even a professional actress can get totally star-struck.
