Oprah was in Zurich recently celebrating Tina Turner's wedding and not only does it turn out that there are people in the world who have no idea who she is, said people are also pretty bigoted.

Talking to Entertainment Tonight, Oprah described how she went shopping in an unnamed luxury bag establishment in the Swiss city and encountered not exactly the kind of customer service she's used to.

'I was in Zurich the other day, in a store whose name I will not mention. I didn't have my eyelashes on, but I was in full Oprah Winfrey gear. I had my little Donna Karan skirt and my little sandals. But obviously 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' is not shown in Zurich. I go into a store and I say to the woman, 'Excuse me, could I see the bag right above your head?' and she says to me, 'No. It's too expensive.'

After much insisting from the multimillionaire, the shop assistant point blank refused. How did she react? She gathered her things and left the shop. Now we would have pulled a Pretty Woman on the assistant, especially if we had $77 million in the bank, but clearly Oprah is a bigger person than us.
