God, if he's this clingy after a short spell of time off, what'll be be like when One Direction split - sorry, go on their 'hiatus'?

Niall Horan has been enjoying some well-earned time off over Christmas and the New Year, but still felt the need to take to Twitter to assure his 24 million followers that he was grand and has been just 'keeping [his] head down'.

 

By the looks of his Instagram in recent weeks, his version of 'enjoying the break' (going to the darts, hanging out with Rory McIlroy, etc.) is a bit different to most peoples'. For the love of God, Horan, give the public what they want and post a picture of yourself in your trackie bottoms, surrounded by empty Pringles tins and Celebrations wrappers.

 

More to the point, with this level of updating people on the minutiae of your life, you might well be asking yourself who needs who more: One Direction, or their fans? One can become accustomed to a certain level of attention in five years...
