Mindy Kaling, star of the upcoming much-anticipated reboot ‘Ocean’s 8’, gave a beautiful commencement address to the students of the Class of 2018 at Dartmouth yesterday.

The actress channelled Elle Woods (her co-star, coincidentally, on the recent Disney movie ‘A Wrinkle in Time’) from ‘Legally Blonde’ as she told the graduates: “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something, but especially not yourself. Go conquer the world. Just remember this: Why not you? You made it this far.”

Even with the film having been released seventeen years ago, the speech has still proven iconic with the likes of Donald Trump ‘borrowing’ from it last year.

‘Legally Blonde’ fans got some exciting news last week when it emerged that ‘Legally Blonde 3’ was in the works.

Reese Witherspoon confirmed the news with a call-back to the iconic Harvard admissions essay video in the 2001 film.

‘Ocean’s 8’ in which Kaling stars opposite Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter, is released in Irish cinemas on June 18th.
